Hi, my name is Stefanie Salazar, and I’m raising funds for my niece, Miranda.
Miranda’s story is one of heartbreak and strength. She lost her mother to cancer just a few months after they moved from Peru, when she was only 10 years old. Since then, she has grown up carrying a loss most of us can’t imagine without the steady presence of either parent.
Even through that pain, Miranda has continued to push forward with incredible determination. She will graduate high school this May with a 3.5 GPA, a reflection of her resilience and hard work. She will be attending St. Leo University, where she dreams of becoming a nurse.
She works at a Greek restaurant and is saving for a car, doing everything she can to build a future from the ground up. While she has earned partial scholarships and financial aid, it still isn’t enough to cover her college costs.
As a family, we are doing all we can, but we are asking for help to carry her the rest of the way. Any support no matter the amount means more than words can express.
Thank you for helping us believe in Miranda’s future.
