On Sept 14th, Mirage came up three-legged after running. We were lucky enough to already have an appointment with our vet for Monday, so she was looked at right away. We were told it was a CCL tear and that surgery was the recommended course of action.

We had our surgical consult on Sept 17th, and they confirmed the tear, but they believe she tore her meniscus as well. We were given an estimate of $6,000 for the surgery. I have already spent over $800 for everything so far.

Mirage has accident insurance, but this is the one thing, cruciate ligament events, they do not cover (which I did not realize until this week), so I'm asking for help with Mirage's surgery.
