HELP MINO WITH EMERGENCY MEDICAL COST

We are Leina‘ala and Sam. We have been blessed to call Rachael, Mino, and Makana our Ohana for many years as our kids have grown up together. Anyone who knows Mino, knows he is absolutely like no other. A one of a kind! They know that he will work himself to the bone to make sure you are taken care of or looked out for. His degree of selflessness and generosity is unmatched and limitless. He has been there to help us on too many occasions to count, with the grace of an angel. I am absolutely sure there are others who have had similar experiences with him. He is a true man of service who embodies the truest definition of ALOHA and humility.

Recently, Mino has been very ill and is now hospitalized because of a severe infection in his knee that at one point was potentially life threatening. As of today (10/18/24), he is still uncomfortable and will have to stay in the hospital for an undetermined amount of days.

The main reason for this fundraiser is that MINO DOES NOT HAVE HEALTH INSURANCE. He’s been to the emergency room twice, rode in an ambulance, and as of now, he’s been in the hospital for a couple of days with more insight. They aren’t sure if a surgery to flush out the knee is necessary, but they have been running a lot of tests to figure it out. A lot of unknowns that are inevitably racking up lots of medical bills as well as him being out of work. If you know Mino, he is never not working.

The GOAL here is to help alleviate that impact after already dealing with so much. I just felt that knowing this man the way we do, there are probably many other people out there that have the same connection with him. One of a kind special people like Mino are as rare as they come. He and his Ohana needs some extra love, aloha and support right now.
