Hi, everyone, my name is Yani. My sweet girl Minnie got very sick very quickly (3 days). Due to lack of education, I was unaware unspayed female cats as well as dogs can get a very severe infection called Pyometra. Pyometra is a life-threatening uterine infection that affects unspayed female cats and dogs, usually a few weeks after a heat cycle. We tried to get her to see her regular vet but were told she needed emergent help. I called around and found Veterinary Healthcare Associates wanting to help me. They allowed me to come through the general practice to diagnose her and cut down the cost, but unfortunately, my sweet girl is very sick and her condition is very severe and needs EMERGENCY SURGERY TODAY! As you know, these bills tend to be very expensive, and I am asking for some help from anyone to help with the vet bill cost as well as to spread information on why it's soooo important to spay & neuter. Minnie is in a lot of pain, and my kids and I are very worried. She had an ultrasound to confirm the condition and will need fluid resuscitation, labs, anesthesia, surgery, and meds. Minnie saw her vet. I explained we wanted a litter and were never told of this terrible condition and risk. I assume all responsibility, but please help donate to help Minnie!!! Anything at all $1, $5, $10, and even a share!
Thank you,
Minnie’s Family
