UPDATE: Minnie is getting her leg amputated . $2200 it's going to cost but this is what's best for her so she doesn't have to deal with surgeries in the future, no prolong infections, no arthritis in the future. I am doing what's best for Minnie.
Minnie is my 4-month-old puppy, and she means everything to me. Just before Christmas, while I was at work, I saw her running on my home camera. Moments later, she disappeared from view, and when she finally came back into sight, she was limping. I rushed home, hoping it was just a minor injury, and gave it a day to see if she would improve. When she didn't, I took her to the vet. Unfortunately, I couldn't afford an x-ray at the time, so the vet gave her some medication and thought it was probably just a sprain. Now, over a month later, the medicine hasn't helped, and Minnie is still limping. Her leg has become very skinny from not being used, and I'm worried it's more serious than we first thought—possibly a dislocation rather than a sprain. The vet said she would need x-rays, more medication, and whatever treatment she might need, and right now, I just can't afford that on my own.
The funds raised will go directly toward Minnie's x-rays, medicine, and any treatments she needs to recover. I want nothing more than to see her happy and healthy, running around on all fours again. Your support would mean the world to both of us, and I would appreciate the help so much to help Minnie be on all fours again. Thank you for considering helping us during this difficult time. She will appreciate the help too I'm sure
