Today, my cousin Minnie experienced every person’s worst nightmare — a devastating fire took everything she owned. In just moments, she lost her home, her belongings, and most heartbreakingly, her sweet dog Lola, who was truly family to her. Lola wasn’t just a pet; she was Minnie’s best friend, her comfort, and her constant companion. Losing her alongside everything else has left Minnie heartbroken beyond words.

Right now, Minnie is facing the unimaginable—trying to process this painful loss while also figuring out how to rebuild her life from nothing.
