Hi everyone! We wanted to share an update about our dog Minnie and ask for a little help as she faces some big health challenges.

Over the past year, Minnie has been dealing with stiffness and limping in her back legs after activity. After vet visits, X-rays, and seeing a specialist, we found out she has ACL tears in both knees - something genetic that’s been slowly worsening over time.

Minnie will need TPLO surgery (Tibial Plateau Leveling Osteotomy) on both legs, done one at a time with about 8–12 weeks recovery between surgeries. Full healing will take 6–9 months, but this surgery should greatly improve her comfort and mobility.

The surgery and related care - including diagnostics and pre/post-op appointments - are quite costly. We’ve set up this GoFundMe to help cover a portion of those expenses.

In addition, a portion of any funds raised will be donated to Hope Animal Rescue, where we adopted Minnie, to support their ongoing work helping animals with medical needs.
