Minnie, a devoted mother of five who works as an office assistant at ProMedical Ambulance Service in Espiritu Santo, Vanuatu, needs your help!
In October 2024, Minnie had a bronchoscopy in Port Vila, Vanuatu, after having trouble breathing. Further imaging was required to find out what was going on, so in November 2024, Minnie travelled to Fiji for CT scans.
The CT scan showed she has an anterior mediastinal mass, a growth located in the front part of the chest cavity, very close to critical structures like the heart, lungs, and major blood vessels.
Due to limited surgical services in Vanuatu and the challenging location of the mass, Minnie needs to travel overseas for further imaging, testing, and treatment.
Since Minnie's return from Fiji, her medical team in Vanuatu has been applying for funding and sponsorship on her behalf to help her access the treatment she requires.
She has recently found out that she will be travelling to India for treatment, which will be partially funded by the Ministry of Health – Vanuatu Government.
Minnie is facing medical costs that aren’t funded, and therefore, we are kindly asking for support to help Minnie cover these expenses.
Minnie is a kind, caring, and strong woman who always puts others first. She has a heart of gold and would do anything to help those around her. Those who know her understand just how special she is. Now, it's our turn to support Minnie in her time of need as she faces challenges that are outside her control.
