In February 2020, Mindy had a seizure.  Later, a MRI revealed that she has a tumor pressing on her brain, and will need surgery to remove it. Mindy's surgery is scheduled for Wednesday, July 15th, and recovery will be 6-9 weeks.  

Mindy has been unable able to work in the weeks leading up to her surgery due to the effects of an anti-seizure medication she has to take prior to surgery. She will not be able to work during her recovery.  

Funds raised will help Mindy cover her basic living expenses until she can begin working again. Any little bit helps. 

Mindy is a creative soul; this is apparent to anyone who spends time with her.  You can see it in her paintings, her beautiful garden, and in the work she does as a hairstylist. Mindy is a fierce ally to animals and those in need.

Mindy is fiercely independent and would not ask for monetary support on her own. This is an opportunity for friends, family, and community to step up and support carrying Mindy through her healing.
