On May 23rd, I had to undergo surgery for a bone infection called osteomyelitis in both of my feet due to diabetic foot ulcers. The procedure resulted in the amputation of my left big toe, the toe joint, and the long bone that runs from the toe down into the foot. I also had my right big toe removed. This has been a life-changing event, and I am still adjusting to the physical and emotional challenges that come with it.
Since the surgery, I have not been able to work or drive, and my doctors have advised that I will not be released to do so until July 1st. This has made it difficult for me to keep up with my rent, car payment, and other living expenses for June. I am doing my best to stay positive and focus on my recovery, but the financial strain is overwhelming.
Any donations are greatly appreciated. Your support will help me cover essential expenses while I heal and regain my independence. Thank you for considering my fundraiser and for any help you can provide.
