Help Mindy kick cancer’s ass!

Hello, as many of you have heard our friend Mindy recently found out she has breast cancer. Mindy’s doctors are recommending that she get a double mastectomy. As shocking and stressful this news is, she has received more shocking news! Her insurance company will only “cover” the mastectomy but won’t pay at all for her reconstruction. As we all know even when insurance says it “covers” something, there are always bills that come in. Mindy’s consultation with her specialist isn’t covered either. We all want Mindy to kick cancer’s ass!! She needs to focus on her surgery and her recovery, not worry about how she is going to pay for all of this.  Mindy has reached out to the cancer society, and she will receive some help from them. We don’t have a number for how much all of this will cost just yet. The amount we are asking for may very likely change. I wanted to get this fund started as soon as possible though. If you can help out at all, I know how much her family would appreciate it. (Especially her 2 boys, they need their mom happy and healthy!!) I plan on updating the page as often as we get more news. Mindy has an appointment before thanksgiving and the surgery is expected to happen in December. Please help our friend!! Thank you in advance!
