Help Mina Fight Cancer & Support Her Young Family

Mina Thompson , a loving wife, teacher, and new mother to 2-month-old Darius, was rushed to the hospital after passing out on January 26. We were devastated to learn a tumor was found in her brain.

While surgeons were able to remove the tumor, further tests revealed additional tumors found in her lungs and colon. Her oncologist confirmed heartbreaking news: the cancer started in her colon and then spread to her lungs and brain.

This is an unimaginable diagnosis for any family, but even more so for a couple who just welcomed their first child into the world. Instead of enjoying these precious first months of parenthood, Mina and her husband Matt will now be facing the fight of their lives—navigating treatments, hospital stays, and the unknown road ahead.

Right now, we don’t know what the treatment plan will look like or how much it will cost, but we do know that the financial burden can be overwhelming. Medical bills, time off work, and unexpected expenses can quickly add up, so the more money we can raise for them, the better.
