Mina, Alireza, and their only 12-year-old son arrived in Michigan, USA on October 7th, 2024 filled with hope for the treatment Alireza desperately needed. After bravely battling cancer for almost three years, this journey was their last chance for a cure. Sadly, on October 24, 2024 Alireza was admitted to the emergency room, and Mina was faced with the heartbreaking news that there was little more that could be done—only to ensure he passed peacefully.

As of now, October 27, Alireza is in a coma and his time is limited. This is an incredibly difficult moment for Mina and her son.
