We’ve started this GoFundMe to help our sweet baby , Mimi, get the treatment she urgently needs after being diagnosed with cancer.

In March 2025, Mimi was first diagnosed with two abnormal masses. Unfortunately, we had to postpone her surgery at that time which was one of the hardest decisions we’ve ever had to make.

By July 2025, a third mass had developed in a very short time, raising serious concern. Mimi underwent surgery a week after, and all three masses were successfully removed. A biopsy of the tissue confirmed our fears, Mimi has mammary adenocarcinoma, a form of cancer.

Her doctor has recommended radiation therapy to target any remaining cancer cells and reduce the risk of it spreading. Since the tumors were removed with narrow margins, there’s a significant risk that microscopic cancer cells remain.

Mimi is not just a pet rabbit to us, She’s our fur baby. She’s a gentle, adventurous, and playful little soul who loves going on 5 AM walks when it’s fresh outside and she can explore the world around her. It’s been incredibly difficult to watch her go through episodes of pain, especially when we’ve had to rush her to the emergency vet nearly 3 hours away. Those moments are stressful for all of us, but especially for Mimi who we know would rather be at comfort of her home with her Luna ( her stuffed bunny).
