Help Mimi's Family in Their Time of Loss
Donation protected
With heavy hearts, my family and I share the passing of Killian Archer Ellanna, affectionately known as “Mimi,” who passed July 6th at Seattle Children’s Hospital.
He is traditionally known as Qutuuqhuq, Uttuan, Tatuuvik, Kilgaq, and Penetac. Mimi fought Acute Myeloid Leukemia with strength for nearly three years. Over that time, he endured three relapses, two stem cell transplants in under a year, and participated in four clinical trials. Through it all, he remained brave and never once complained. He passed away peacefully in his father’s arms, surrounded by family and loving medical staff.
We are setting up this GoFundMe to help relieve some of the financial burden on my parents. My mom, Katie, has been unemployed since Mimi’s diagnosis so she could care for him full-time.
We want to express our deepest thanks to everyone who has supported us along the way—your kindness and generosity has helped us in so many ways.
If you have Alaska Airlines miles you’d like to donate, they will greatly help us in bringing Charles, Gabrielle, and Breannon home.
Additionally, if you’d like to bring over a meal during the last two weeks of July, we would be very grateful. Please feel free to message me for my parents’ address.
Thank you all for holding us in your hearts and thoughts during this difficult time.
