Mimi was found on the streets of Doha, Qatar, unable to walk and crying in pain after being hit and left behind. She had been suffering for a long time before she was finally rescued by my sister. When she found her, Mimi was in a heartbreaking state—she had a fractured pelvis, no sensation in her right hind leg, a herniated bladder and intestines, and clear signs of long-term neglect. Despite everything she had endured, Mimi’s gentle spirit shone through, and my sister knew she had to do everything possible to help her.

Mimi has already undergone her first life-saving surgery and is currently stable at the vet, but her journey to recovery is far from over. The initial medical estimate is high, and she will need further treatment, medication, and extended care to have a real chance at a pain-free life. My sister is caring for Mimi and cannot afford her treatment on her own.
