Hello my name is Danielle and I am debs daughter in law more like a daughter to be honest, As some of you may know Deb know to most of us as MIMI has had a severe medical emergency and is in the hospital. Mimi is the most kind hearted soul you will ever meet she would do anything for anybody no questions asked. I am asking for anyone’s kind help in return. She has been admitted to saint lukes hospital in carbon county early Saturday morning the cat scans have showed she has a hernia as well as not only 1 but 2 fistulas attached to the hernia as well as some of her other organs. The CT scan has show the severity of this and she must undergo not 1 but possibly 2 major surgeries. She must first fight this bad infection with strong antibiotics for 2 weeks then as long as this works she can’t start with the 1st surgery. When the infection has cleared they will then have to remove her colon and resection it, with all hopes this surgery works if it doesn’t as planned she will then have to have a colostomy for a very long time. After this heals she will then have to undergo surgery number 2 to repair her hernia. All of this has also caused her to have diverticulosis. Needless to say it’s not good news and prayers upon prayers would be appreciated. Any help from friends and family would be greatly appreciated as she will be out of work with no income for atleast 3 months. She is basically on bed rest and must listen or she will set herself 10 steps back. Deb is a hard worker she works 5 days a week to be able to pay her bills and now with no work it’s gonna be an absolute struggle.
