We’re reaching out with heavy hearts to ask for help for Milo, our beloved pug French Bulldog.

Milo is a sweet, playful, and loving dog who means the world to our family. On New Year’s, everything changed suddenly when he was diagnosed with a serious spinal condition called IVDD (Intervertebral Disc Disease). This condition causes severe pain and can rapidly lead to paralysis if not treated urgently.

Because this emergency happened during the New Year period, access to specialists, emergency imaging, hospitalization, and surgery has become significantly more expensive. After multiple urgent veterinary evaluations, specialists have confirmed that Milo needs immediate spinal surgery to relieve pressure on his spinal cord and give him a real chance to walk and live without pain again.

The total cost for the surgery, emergency care, hospitalization, medications, and recovery is around £10,000, which is overwhelming for our family to manage alone.

There is still real hope with timely surgery and proper rehabilitation, many dogs with IVDD can recover and enjoy a happy, pain-free life. Without surgery, Milo’s condition could worsen permanently.
