Help Milo Heal: Support His Second Surgery
Donation protected
Meet Milo.
Milo is a beautiful 4 year old dog from a local rescue here in Green Bay, Wisconsin.
Milo was born with a genetic disorder called Congenital Radial Head Luxation affecting his left front leg. Because of this deformity, he puts extra unnecessary pressure on his other legs and depends on them more for support.
August of 2024, we noticed Milo was completely non weight bearing to his back left leg. After multiple referrals and testing, Milo was diagnosed with a complete ACL and meniscus tear with moderate arthritis starting.
Without hesitation we scheduled his surgery.
We are blessed to say, as of January 2025 when Milo’s surgery was completed, there has been no complications. Unfortunately with this type of surgery, there is a 50% chance of Milo tearing his ACL in his other leg.
Sadly, for the past few weeks we have been dealing with this all over again. The pain, the lethargy, the decreased appetite, and non weight bearing to now his other leg.
We knew this day was coming, but did not think so soon….
We are asking for help to alleviate some of the costs with his surgery. We simply do not have the funds as we are financially recovering from his previous surgery of January 2025 and myself being on maternity leave.
Milo has had it so rough, this will technically be his 3rd surgery as he had exploratory surgery just shy of turning 1 year old. Despite all of his set backs, he is the most loving boy and we just want him to feel better and be pain free.
Any like, share, or donation will be greatly appreciated.
Thank you so much for taking the time to read Milo’s story.
