What was supposed to be a routine checkup for Milo exposed an underlying issue for my sweet baby. He has a torn CCL (equivalent to a torn ACL for humans). Unbeknownst to me, he had been in pain the last few months and started showing irritability towards dogs and some people. I had no idea why these changes had presented themselves until I discovered how much pain he was in. This is quite common in pit bulls, and they tend to hide this pain the best they can.

My heart is breaking, and he is currently on pain meds until I can get the funds together for him to undergo the surgery needed. It is extremely hard for me to ask for help, but when it comes to Milo, I am willing to do whatever it takes. Anything helps, and I sincerely appreciate you for even taking the time to read this
