Help Milo breathe normally again emergency surgery is needed

My sweet cat Milo is very sick right now. As you can see in the second photo, he has fluids around his lungs and is struggling to breathe. We urgently Took him to an emergency specialist veterinarian in Fresno. Milo will need to be put under anesthesia so the vets can drain the fluid from his lungs, and he’ll have to stay overnight for hospitalization, monitoring, and along with more testing & treatments.

Milo is such an affectionate & loving kitty, he adores cuddles and has always been a source of comfort and joy for our family. It breaks my heart to see him suffering, but with your help, he has a fighting chance to make a successful recovery.

Update :

Our kitty has been diagnosed with a tumor that is causing fluid to build up around his lungs. This fluid has already been drained three times, but unfortunately, it keeps returning. The only way to truly help him and improve his quality of life is to surgically remove the tumor he needs an oncologist and a cardiologist to make sure his heart is doing well and to do it without a referral as an emergency is so so expensive along with that The surgery itself is very expensive, and while he also has a heart condition, it is not believed to be contributing to the fluid problem. We are hopeful that with the surgery, he can make a full recovery.
