Milo, our sweet domestic short-haired tabby cat, became part of our family when he was just four months old. We rescued him from an abusive environment, and from the moment he arrived, he brought so much love and comfort into our lives. Despite the trauma he endured as a kitten, Milo quickly became a gentle, quiet companion who means the world to us. Unfortunately, the abuse left him with damage to his left eye, resulting in partial to no vision. For a long time, Milo adapted and lived a happy, normal life with us.

Recently, Milo developed an ulcer in his already damaged eye, and after consulting with our veterinarian, we learned that his left eye now needs to be removed to prevent further pain and complications. This news has been heartbreaking for our family, but we are determined to do everything we can to give Milo the best chance at a healthy, pain-free life. The surgery, along with the necessary post-surgery care and medications, comes with significant costs that we are struggling to cover on our own.
