Hi Everyone! Please support Milo’s trip to DC/Philadelphia/NYC! ️❤️

Milo has always been curious about the world around her, and how her voice can make a difference. In third grade, she wrote a letter to our mayor and superintendent to reduce pollution, and by fourth grade, she was already teaching her friends about the three branches of government and encouraging them to register to vote when they’re old enough. Now, as an 8th grader, she has the chance to see Washington DC in person—a once in a lifetime opportunity to see the seat of the federal government in person, with her best friends and classmates (and no parents!).

This year, Milo has been working hard in her school community, earning multiple citizenship awards, and baking brownies and cookies for her classmates just to be kind. She’s also taking on extra chores and baking projects to earn her own spending money for souvenirs.

The funds from this fundraiser will help cover her travel, lodging, and special experiences both heavy—like visiting the Vietnam memorial and 9-11 memorial—and light—like seeing a Broadway show and a view from a NYC skyscraper. More than anything, this journey is about Milo experiencing all that life has to offer, taking opportunities even when they’re daunting, and learning to advocate for herself and put herself out therr, knowing she can accomplish anything she sets her mind to.
