Help Milo Beat Cancer: Support His Surgery

Dear friends, family, and kind-hearted supporters,

It is with heavy hearts that we reach out to you today to share the difficult news about our cherished family member and Mattison English Mascot, Milo, and ask for your support. He needs to go through another surgery to remove another cancerous mast cell tumor.

Our beloved companion was diagnosed with an aggressive mast cell tumor at age 2 and underwent surgery. We’ve tried Palladia (cancer treatment med), and home-cooking all of his meals, however, the cancer has come back from the margins. He underwent cancer staging and found that the cancer hadn’t spread. The vet says we may be able to remove it without chemo or radiation completely.

While it offers promising results, the associated costs are substantial, with an estimated financial commitment of $6,500 USD. As a family, we have done everything in our power to provide the best care for Milo, so far. His surgery, staging and meds have already cost $8000. We humbly acknowledge that we cannot face this challenge alone.

Milo came to us from Tennessee through an animal rescue. He is not just a dog; he is a source of boundless joy, laughter, and unwavering loyalty. Now, as we continue this daunting battle against cancer, we find ourselves in need of your support.

私たちの大切な家族の一員であり、Mattison Englishのマスコットであるマイロについての皆様のご支援をお願いするために書いています。現在マイロは再発した癌の腫瘍を取り除くために、もう一度手術を受ける必要に迫られています。

マイロは2歳の時に進行性肥満細胞腫瘍と診断され、昨年秋に手術を受けました。Palladia（癌治療薬）を試し、すべての食事を手作りしましたが、残念ながらこの８月、癌が再発してしました。

再び治療すべきか、このまま運命を受け入れるべきか家族で悩みましたが、癌のステージングを受けた結果、癌はまだ深く浸透していない事がわかりました。手術のみで癌細胞を取り除けるかもしれないとの獣医からの報告を受け、まだ若いマイロの回復を信じ、最後の治療 にしようと再治療に踏み切る決心をしました。

しかしながら治療に要する費用は多額で、推定6,500ドル(約95万円)の負担が必要と言われました。家族として、これまでMiloに最善のケアを提供するために全力を尽くしてきましたが、１度目の手術、ステージング、薬にはすでに8,000ドル(約100万円)かかっており、この挑戦に私達１家族が立ち向かうことは難しいと判断しました。

今回家族で話し合い、マイロの放射線治療のための資金を集めるために、このGoFundMeキャンペーンを立ち上げました。どんな支援でも、Miloが癌を克服するために必要な治療を受けるための大きな一歩となります。
