Milly is my 9-year-old boxer and the sweetest girl I’ve had the privilege of having by my side for nearly a decade. Last night, I rushed her to the emergency vet after she suddenly became very ill. The doctors diagnosed her with a severe case of pancreatitis, and she’s now hospitalized in the ICU for at least two days. It was heartbreaking to see her in pain, but the vets are hopeful she can recover with the right treatments.

Besides her pancreatitis, Milly has been struggling with an increasing limp and lameness in her right front leg. The vet recommends a neurologist evaluation to find out what’s causing her leg issues, so we can give her the best chance at a full recovery. I’ve already spent so much on her care, and we’re not out of the woods yet. Milly means so much to me, and to everyone who knows her—she truly deserves every ounce of love and time we can give her.
