Hello there, my name is Milagros, but I'm also known as Milly.

I am embarrassed to reach out and ask for help, but I'm starting to drown in overdue bills.

I have unfortunately lost my job due to my declining health.

After a difficult time last year 2024 and going in and out of hospitals for about 2 weeks this year. I FINALLY got diagnosed with a fainting syndrome and epilepsy. Due to this, I unfortunately cannot have a stable full-time job. My great team of doctors and specialists are trying to figure out why, so I can hopefully get better.

I usually have at least one doctor visit a day, if not more. This does end up adding up with transportation costs.

I have applied for public assistance and disability benefits (SSI), but unfortunately, it's insufficient. I am also still waiting for disability benefits, but that can take 6 months to 2 years from what I have been hearing from other people.

I am humbly asking for help with the cost of medications, paying for the difference with my insurance coverage, transportation costs to medical appointments, and assistance with the cost of living. Anything helps, a dollar or sharing this GoFundMe.
