I’m Millison, and I’m asking for help for our household and the cats and kittens who are already depending on us. We are not a cat rescue, and we are not looking to take in more animals. But again and again, starving, abandoned, and traumatized kittens keep turning up on or near our property, and we simply cannot ignore their suffering. We bring them in, get them veterinary care and medicine, and give them shelter, food, and safety. The heartbreaking reality is that because of the overwhelming feral cat population in our county, very few of them are able to find new homes. What started as trying to help one or two has become an ongoing responsibility for the cats we already have in our home.
Some of their stories stay with us every single day. Lola is a special needs kitten who has no use of her lower legs, so she needs diapers and daily cleaning. Giselle is blind, gentle, and affectionate, even though she sometimes bumps into doors. Our newest arrival was a young gray tuxedo mother cat who showed up on our property with clear signs of heat stress. After we gained her trust and brought her inside, she gave birth three weeks later to five beautiful kittens. Soon after, she became dangerously sick with severe diarrhea caused by worms, and despite that, she kept trying to nurse her babies. After multiple vet visits, she is finally recovering. Your support will help us provide vet care, medicine, food, shelter, and daily supplies for these cats and kittens who are already in our care. Please help us keep them safe, comfortable, and loved.
