Hello, wonderful people!

Meet Millie, our sweet one-year-old rescue pup who has quickly become a beloved member of our family. She has had a tough start in life, but her playful spirit and incredibly loving personality have always shined through.

Up until recently, Millie and our other young dog, Kona, spent all day romping around in our backyard, wrestling each other until one gives up. Sadly, about three weeks ago, when she was just 11-months old, we noticed she was limping on her right hind leg. After a few days of it getting progressively worse, we took her in. The vet immediately called me with horrible news: Millie has severe hip dysplasia in both of her hind legs, a painful condition that affects her mobility and quality of life. Since then I have gotten multiple second opinions and they all recommend the same procedure - Femoral Head Ostectomy. Today, after turning one year old on Sept 7th, Millie spends her days laying around, barely able to walk.

Without two hip surgeries, she faces a future of constant pain and limited activity. But with the right treatment, Millie can live a long, happy, and pain-free life!

The surgery and rehabilitation needed to correct her condition is costly and as much as we want to do everything for our pup, this expense is more than I can handle on my own as a single mom of three kids. This is why we as a family are reaching out to kind-hearted people like you.
