Help Millie Rivera during unpaid medical leave

My name is Millie Rivera, I'm about to be 39 yrs old. The past 2 years have been challenging to say the least.

It started off with the knee surgery I waited over 20 yrs for and finally got on December 22nd, 2022. I was excited to get back to the old me, but 2 months after surgery doctors found an annular tear in my lower back and the start of degenerative disc disease. That was found on account of my leg just wasn't functioning properly after surgery so I had a few MRIs done. My leg is still not back to normal, and we are still fighting to get some answers. I go to pain management and still require the use of a walker to go anywhere outside of my house.

This is just the lead up to explaining why I've resorted to creating this as I am never one to ask for anyone's help, and I am humbling myself by doing so. I never wanted to share this information outside of close friends and family, but desperate times leads to desperate measures, especially when I have a 15 yr old son to take care of.

On December 7th, 2024 while I was at work on break, I had to call for my best friend who was inside the building to come help because I couldn't move very well and was on the verge of passing out . Everyone that saw me said I looked like I had a stroke. Thankfully I did not, but the doctors ordered the works of scans, and for that at least I know what is causing my current condition. I have a bulging disc in my cervical spine (neck) and it's pushing on my spinal cord, causing "neurological impingement". I didn't understand fully what that would mean until December 19th when I could no longer talk normally. Every day since I sound like I've had a stroke. More scans proved I didn't have one and no one so far can explain what's going on. I can't work, can't even really drive much anymore, and have to wait a little longer for appointments with Mayo Clinic, but I am on unpaid leave as of that date.

I am asking for any type of help possible to help with my bills, groceries for my household, and getting to and from my appointments as they are over an hour way from where I live. I know right now almost everyone I know is struggling in some way, but it would mean so much to me and I would be beyond grateful!
