Hello, friends and family,

We are the family of Mildred Perez.. As you may or may not know Millie is fighting stage 4 cholangiocarcinoma and also just had her right left amputation so now she is a double above knee amputee… we as her family are reaching out today to share her story and humbly ask for your support. She has been battling cancer for two years. As you can imagine, it has been a challenging and emotional time for both her and my family. The road has been difficult, but with the right treatment and care, we are hopeful for the best outcome. Unfortunately, she has used up all of her savings as well as family members savings to cover the cost of treatment, scans, medications, supplements and especially equipment. Unfortunately her insurance is not much of a help and also wont cover for healthcare aide to assist so we would have to pay a caregiver out of pocket. This illness has created a financial strain on her and my family. As she is focusing on her health and recovery, we do not want her to stress over the mounting expenses. She is retired and unfortunately cannot work. She is currently still receiving chemotherapy, physical therapy and also occupational therapy weekly trying to beat all these occurring illness.
