My name is Becca, and I’m reaching out in one of the hardest moments I’ve faced in a long time. My sweet hound, Millie Moose, recently broke her leg — and watching her struggle, whimper, and try to stand when she can’t has completely broken my heart.

Millie Moose isn’t just a dog — she’s my best friend, my shadow, and my comfort through every up and down. She’s been there through long shifts, deployments, and lonely nights, always greeting me with her goofy smile and endless love. She’s the kind of soul who makes every day a little brighter just by being in it.

Right now, I’m doing everything I can to help her heal, but life has been tough lately. I work part-time in customer service which has left me in a difficult financial spot. The cost of Millie’s surgery, X-rays, and recovery care — is going to be an estimated 5,000 and is more than I can manage on my own right now.

I’ve always tried to handle things myself, but this time, I need help — for her. Millie’s got so much life and love left to give, and I just want to see her chase after her favorite ball again, ears flopping and tail wagging like always.
