Milly Leonardo is an amazing, hardworking 7th grader with a heart full of curiosity and kindness. Even as a little girl, Milly always wanted to run before she could walk—her eagerness to take on new challenges has always set her apart. She’s always been fascinated by Japanese culture and food, and she dreams of exploring the world beyond her own community. When her school announced a trip to Japan, Milly was determined to make it happen. She started selling baked goods—brownies, loaves of bread, cookies, and even cheesy treats—to raise money, and she’s applied to multiple scholarships, doing everything she can to earn her place on this journey.

Her mother, a dedicated special education teacher, works with the most at-risk students in our area, always giving back to those who need it most. Milly’s family is incredibly special, constantly supporting others and never asking for help themselves. That’s why I’m reaching out on their behalf. The funds raised here will go directly toward the set price of Milly’s school trip, covering all the expenses she needs to participate.
