On December 30th, 2019 Jordan and Meg Dawley had to take their 6 week old baby girl, Millie, to Doernbecher Children’s Hospital after noticing her increasingly  floppy muscle tone, difficulty with breathing, choking episodes, and failure to thrive. They spent a week at the hospital running various tests and procedures on Millie and are currently awaiting genetic testing results. Millie was placed on a feeding tube and the Dawley’s are having to make several changes around their home to adapt to Millie’s needs.

There is still not a clear diagnosis yet but they are hopeful that some of the testing that is being done will reveal the underlying cause of what is going on in Millie's body. They have a long road ahead and a lot to process.

After an expensive stay at the hospital and with many trips to Portland ahead of them for various appointments, the Dawley’s would love some support to help with the accruing costs of Millie’s current and future care.

The Dawley's have a strong trust and faith in God and would love prayer for healing for sweet Millie, for direction and wisdom for her team of doctors and specialist, and for their family as they adjust to a new normal and learn to be Millie's caregivers to help her be able to eat and thrive.
