This to help Millie and David Hanson with rebuilding their lives and support any immediate needs they have. Beginning September 26th, Northeast TN and parts of NC were hit hard by Hurricane Helene with major rains, flooding, and major losses for people in Greene, Cocke, Unicoi and Washington counties in Tennessee. Millie and David have lost their home and only have 2 days worth of their belongings as of now ( September 30th). They also have 2 fur babies Bunny and Jack ( in pictures attached). Millie has been a wonderful administrative assistant for UT Extension( Washington County) for over 20 years, never turning down helping others when needed, and it was put into our hearts as colleagues( Extension agents in Greene, Unicoi, and Washington) to do a small part and rally for her and set up this page to give Millie and David a footing to start looking towards the future! These funds will go towards everyday essentials, any bills they may have, supplies for the fur babies. We ask you give whatever amount you like- and add a note to Millie and David as I will give them access to read everything here! Share this far and wide!
