Help Millie and Arthur Villaros Recover After Fire
Donation protected
Hello. My name is Mary Barroga Rhambo. I am writing on behalf of Millie and Arthur Villaros. Millie, mother, and Arthur, stepfather of my very close and first friend, Laura L. Tollefson. We were in the same first-grade classroom. Then, she moved away to Castellamare, Pacific Palisades, but we stayed friends for 56 years. Unfortunately, their house was in the devastating Palisades Fire. Thankfully, they are safe, but they've lost absolutely everything except for one car that they left in, and a few items of clothing. Their home, belongings including their other working car, and sense of security, all gone. They bought their home in 1972 after Millie lost her first husband in the Vietnam War and had received money from the government. After 53 years of living in Palisades, and now the Villaros are in their 80s with health issues, they will have to start all over. Millie and Arthur are good Christians who serve the Lord. They're kind, generous people who help others in need. Now, it's our turn to support them as they face the difficult journey of recovering.
We are asking for your generous support to help with immediate essentials, temporary housing, clothing, medical expenses that their insurance is not covering, a sofa bed, Uber or catalytic converter since someone stole it a few nights ago, food, and long-term recovery. Every donation, no matter the size, will make a difference and bring hope during this challenging time.
Please consider contributing and sharing this campaign with your network. Together, we can help Millie and Arthur Villaros recover and show them they are not alone.
