Our lovely Milli is getting ready for the fight of her life - if you know her well you know she's had some battles already, yet is always the caring and beautiful soul that we know and love. In the past couple of weeks, Milli has discovered she has cancer in both her lungs, which has spread to her lymph nodes. Radiotherapy for the secondary cancers starts 2nd April 2026 (today, if you're seeing this on launch day), and then chemotherapy will start when she is strong enough.

As you can imagine, Milli's family are in pieces, trying to work this out, and if you know Milli's daughter Tania, you'll understand an additional layer that needs careful consideration as she has complex special needs.

We hope there will be some financial aid coming, as once Milli is ready to come home, there will be a lot of costs that the family have not anticipated until now. Updates to the house to ensure it is safe for Milli and Tania, additional bills, travel costs, loss of earnings, new clothes that fit and a lot more we're not even thinking of.
