Help Milka Get Back on Her Paws!

Hi, my name is Renata Coutinho, and I'm reaching out to ask for help for our sweet, 7-year-old Border Collie, Milka. She’s always been an energetic and playful dog, full of life and loved by everyone who meets her. One of Milka's favorite things to do is catch balls and run around, a skill she’s become so good at, it’s almost like a professional sport for her!

Recently, Milka has been struggling with pain and difficulty moving due to a condition in her hip that requires her to undergo a Femoral Head Ostectomy (FHO) surgery. This procedure will help her regain mobility and, hopefully, return to her old self—chasing balls, running, and playing like she used to.

However, the surgery, recovery, and physical therapy come at a significant cost—around $7,000. This includes the surgery itself, the post-op care, and physical therapy sessions to ensure Milka recovers fully and can live a pain-free life again.
