My name is Heather Flack and I am starting this GoFundMe page for a dear friend and coworker of mine. Milinda is certainly one of the best coworkers I’ve ever had, and it has led to a friendship over the past 10 years. She has been in the field of supporting intellectually and developmentally disabled adults for over 30 years. She recently found out she has stomach cancer, and she is unable to pay the bills that even pay for her treatment. She has been unable to work for nearly 2 months because she has a port. She has started chemo already, but she is very worried about how she is going to pay for it. I just thought any help is better than no help, and since she has dedicated her life to others, perhaps it is time for us to give back to her.
