Help Miles Save Gavin: Emergency Surgery Fund

My name is Besia Rose and I'm raising money for my teaching partner Miles Goodrich, for emergency care and surgery for his beloved cat Gavin. On May 17th Gavin suffered a tragic accident, unbeknownst to his family he had snuck into the garage, and was crushed in the closing garage door. The door safety mechanisms did not engage, and Gavin suffered crush injuries to his body as well as a ruptured bladder. His loving family, of course, rushed him to the emergency vet and got him the help and care he needed. Gavin is doing well, and is about to head into his final surgery, but the cost is getting steep.

Miles Goodrich is a beloved preschool teacher and member of our community. He quietly does so much for everyone around him: from passing out hygiene packages, blankets, and scarves to the houseless neighbors before his shifts, to endless advice and support for his coworkers, Miles is an incredible and invaluable person to have in your corner. He refused to even consider asking for help when I suggested it, but if anyone deserves it he does, so let's show him how much he means to us.
