Miles, my orange cat, recently went through a terrifying ordeal after eating Tidy Cats Breeze pellets. This led to an emergency surgery, and during the procedure, the vets discovered that he is in stage 4 kidney disease. He is currently still in the vet hospital, receiving the care he needs to stabilize and recover. Miles is only 6 years old, and as an orange cat, he’s not always the smartest—but he’s endlessly lovable. Despite the odds, he is starting to make a bit of a miracle recovery with his kidneys, but we still have a battle ahead of us. This diagnosis is especially heartbreaking because he’s still so young and has so much life ahead of him. It has been an emotional and challenging time for both of us.
The costs for his emergency surgery, ongoing vet visits, and treatments are adding up quickly. I want to do everything I can to give him the best chance at recovery and a comfortable life, but I can’t do it alone. Every bit of support will go directly toward his medical bills and the care he needs to fight through this difficult diagnosis.
Thank you so much for your kindness, support, and understanding. Your help means the world to me, and it’s a reminder of how much one cat can truly mean to someone. Any contribution, no matter the size, will make a difference in his journey to healing.
UPDATE!
Miles is finally home after spending 10 days at the vet.
