I hope this message finds you well. I'm excited to share some incredible news with you all. I have been accepted into The Midsummer in Oxford Program for BADA (British American Drama Academy) at the University of Oxford in England, and I couldn't be more thrilled. From July 6 to August 4, I will have the opportunity to immerse myself in a transformative cultural and educational experience. The program, based in the historic Magdalen College at the University of Oxford, is designed for committed actors over the age of eighteen and focuses on classical theatre craft with an emphasis on Shakespeare. Participants like me will work and live at Magdalen alongside the BADA Faculty, which is made up of leading British theatre practitioners and teaching artists from top American graduate programs.
This is truly a dream come true for me, and I am eagerly counting down the days until I can embark on this incredible journey. However, as an upcoming graduate from Morehouse College, I am faced with the challenge of covering the costs associated with this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. The total expenses for the program, including tuition, accommodation, and travel, amount to $8,000. I have been blessed by the gracious God to have this opportunity, and I am reaching out to you all for your support in helping me make it a reality.
