Miles lost his dad to suicide less than two years ago. Just as he and his family were starting to heal and rebuild from that tragedy, Miles received his leukemia diagnosis the day before he was to start kindergarten. His sister, Ramona, has had to put her senior year on hold and is switching to online classes because of his nonexistent immune system. Their mother, Malynda, is taking a temporary leave from her job in order to fully care for Miles, as she is doing so without the support of a partner. Miles and his family could use any help they could get to support them in these trying times.
