My husband is a retired teacher, and I am currently a public school teacher. We have supported Miles’ aviation journey for years, covering flight hours, training, and every step required to earn his Private Pilot License and Instrument Rating. Unfortunately, with rising costs and the limitations of two educators’ salaries, we have reached a point where we can no longer afford the remaining training he needs to move forward.

Miles is extraordinarily dedicated, responsible, and talented. He has never failed a check-ride. FAA examiners have even described him as “commercial ready.” He is so close to achieving his dream — and with a little help, he can cross that finish line.

This fundraiser is a gift of love, hope, and belief in a young man who has done everything right. If we are able to raise these funds, it will be an incredible surprise for Miles… and the final lift he needs to truly take flight.
