Mila is 12 years old and battled cancer this last few months. We are please to say she got the all clear.

She love animals. And has been a great fundraiser for WarPaws while she was ongoing her treatment.

She organised a great summer Fayre and Dog show during the summer and also raised over £700 for the local Children’s Ward.

WarPaws is a charity close to her heart as they did such an amazing job to bring our beautiful dog, Ruski, from Iraq last year.

Mila has been such an amazing fundraiser and is now taking on the challenge to raise enough funds to bring Doggo (AKA Ruski ‘s girlfriend) back from the Middle East.

The story of Doggo is long. She has had two litters, the first being in 2023 where all but one was shot and killed. Her lone surviving puppy needed intensive medical treatment before he was rescued and re-homed in 2024 by WarPaws.

Doggo had a second litter of which all 7 surviving puppies were rescued and re-homed again in 2025 by WarPaws. The male dog "Ruski" who is the farther of both litters was also rescued and re-homed in 2024 and lives with our family.

This leaves "Doggo" stranded and in need of the loving family she deserves.

All money raised will be donated to WarPaws to aid in the rescue of Doggo and to help care for the 100s of dogs in Warpaws’ care.
