My Mila girl urgently needs help. She’s 14 years old, and I’ve loved her since the day I adopted her from the animal shelter at just 4 months old. Everyone who meets her says the same thing; she’s an angel. She’s gentle, well behaved, patient, and has the softest soul. She loves her dog and cat siblings and her human family just as deeply as we love her.

Recently, Mila developed a large abdominal lump that has rapidly grown. The vet says it requires emergency surgical removal and further testing to understand exactly what we’re dealing with. Without surgery, the wound will continue to worsen and put her at serious risk.

The total cost for her care exam, emergency treatment, surgery, and pathology is about $5,000. As much as it hurts to ask, I can’t cover this on my own.

Mila hasn’t been her usual silly, happy self. She’s been down, tired, and clearly uncomfortable. Seeing her this way breaks my heart. She has been by my side for 14 years, and I want to give her every chance to stay with us and feel comfortable again.
