Hello, my name's Danielle, Mila’s human mom. Mila came to me around 8 weeks old from a homeless man who was unable to care for her. Almost 2 years later, she’s been with me ever since. Mila is the sweetest, goofiest girl that has a zest for life unlike anything I’ve ever seen. She adds so much to our family. She’s also the primary greeter of every foster we’ve brought into our home. Mila is the dog that teaches our fosters that they’re safe and will receive the best love. She adds so much to our lives, and I cannot stress enough how she is more than a dog to us. She is our world.

Now comes why we’re asking for donations. Due to poor genetics and overexerting herself, she has torn both ACLs in her back legs. To repair this, she needs double TPLO surgery, which can be quite costly. I have attached a photo of the estimate to give her this surgery, and as you can see, it is a pretty penny. I am not the typical person to ask for money, so having to swallow my pride has been difficult.
