Hello my name is Olivia. In the beginning of August we brought Mila to the vet for some swelling on her hind leg. Unfortunately the x-rays showed signs of osteosarcoma (an extremely aggressive bone cancer) that spreads through their blood. It can and will cause organ failure without the proper attention.

The money this raises will be used to get her a biopsy so we can be certain that it is osteosarcoma.

Milas chances of living with osteosarcoma are not high, and there isn’t necessarily a cure for this disease. It’s extremely painful and can cause broken bones and splints as time goes on, but I would like to be positive in the fact she has it before I start thinking about end of life care.

If you know me or Mila, you’ll know she has been my absolute rock since I got her at 18. She has been through every up and down with me and now it’s my turn to try to support her in this time.
