Mila is a joyful, creative four-year-old who brings light to everyone around her. She adores her family, especially her big brother Jude, and loves playing hide and seek in the dark with him. Emilia and her sister Scarlett are inseparable, sharing every adventure together. Weekends are filled with laughter as Emilia looks forward to seeing her cousins Olivia and Maggie, who are her age, and spending time with her grandparents and extended family. She loves the outdoors—bike riding, watching animals, playing with friends at preschool and the park, and expressing herself through art. Emilia’s imagination shines brightest during princess parties, where she dresses up and pretends to be a doctor, fairy, or her favorite, a princess. Her artwork already fills the family home with color and pride.

On August 16th, 2025, Emilia was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. This diagnosis has turned her world upside down. Emilia and her family had to leave their home and travel three hours away for treatment. She can no longer attend school or play outside, and her days are now spent in a hospital room. She will soon receive a port to her heart and begin intensive chemotherapy and blood transfusions. The cancer has spread throughout her body, and the road ahead will be long and challenging. Her mother has had to stop working to be by her side, and the family is facing mounting medical bills, travel costs, and living expenses.

Support from this fundraiser will help cover Emilia’s medical treatments, blood transfusions, and the family’s essential bills and housing while they are far from home and Nicole is out of employment. Emilia’s family hopes for her healing and dreams of the day she can return home, play with her siblings, and see herself as the strong, beautiful princess she truly is.
