Help Mila and Kenya Secure Safe Housing

Hi, my name is Mila, and this is my friend Kenya. We are two musicians with an adorable stray cat we adopted based in Bushwick and are in dire need of financial assistance due to housing instability.

I am a BIPOC trans woman who has suffered abuse from my former roommate, who was sexist, transphobic, physically aggressive, and went so far as to harass me.

After trying to find sanctuary at my friend Kenya's apartment, I was physically assaulted by her roommate because of my identity. As a result, I was put in the hospital and wrongfully convicted for defending myself due to bias.

Now, I am homeless and unsure where I will sleep next. I plan to move in with Kenya before the 20th, and I need enough money to put down a deposit. I normally don't ask for help, but I have little to no options and a limited amount of time before I can move.
