Help Miko get to Worlds!

Hello! My name is Michiko Magnant and I'm from Alexandria, Virginia. I've recently been selected to be a part of the U-20 USA Women's National Team for the 2022 World Junior Ultimate Championship, which will be held in Wroclaw, Poland this August. 

 Three years ago I fell in love with this sport. Before Ultimate Frisbee, I had only participated in martial arts, and wanted to be truly involved with a sports team. When I started playing frisbee, it was more than just a team, but a community. I have met and played with amazing people, but most importantly, it's the spirit of the game. 

During my junior year of high school, I would constantly be watching a bunch of WJUC highlight reels. I was in awe of these incredible athletes and players who were my age, playing at such a high competitive level. I was truly inspired. And now to see myself filling those cleets is unbelievable. 

 As amazing as all this is, it is going to be a challenge to make this goal work in getting to Poland. But I know it can be achieved. I am currently a first year college student, and addition to having this Gofundme, I will be working over the summer to make this a reality.
